Remembrance Day Services: are in the multi-purpose room of the Activity Center.  Everyone is invited to gather at 10:45 a.m.

A Big Thank-you to the 13 volunteers who were there over a 7 hour period last Monday packing, sorting and loading up the 7^th Thrift Shop Truck for this year.

Our next Board meeting is November 12, 2009 at 7:30 pm in the Pioneer Lounge.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

The “Charlie Brown” Christmas tree will once again be in the Narthex beginning November 8^th to Monday, November 30, 2009. Everyone is encouraged to bring items such as mitts, socks, toques or scarves and place their items on our tree.  All items will be donated to the Bissell Centre in Edmonton.

The Jellinek Society presents Nellie McClung.  A One “Person” Play by Kathy Morrell.  This event takes place in the Royal Alberta Museum Theatre November 13 & 14, 2009 at 8:00 pm.  For more information call 780-420-1757.

Arts Jasper presents “Damien”, Saturday, November 28, 2009 in the Jasper United Church at 8:00 pm. Damien is a one man show telling the true story of Father Damien de Veuster, whose heroic struggle to bring dignity and compassion to the lives of the lepers of Molokai Island, is both inspiring and heart breaking.

Reverend Debbie is once again collecting gently used sleeping bags and blankets.  Please leave your donated items in the office.
