SPECIAL PRAYER
Please continue to pray for the ones that went on the African Mission Trip. They will be returning on Saturday, March 21st.

SPECIAL PRAYER TIME
We would like to invite everyone to come for a “Special Time of Prayer” for lost loved ones, prayer for our Pastors, or other special needs. We meet every Monday night at 6pm in the sanctuary.

SENIOR ADULTS
The Senior Adults will have Bible Study on Tuesday, March 17th at 10:30am in the upper fellowship hall. Following you will be going out to eat at Bennett’s BBQ.

SENIOR ADULTS GOING TO CRAWDADS GAME & SENIOR ADULT DAY
The Senior Adults will be going to a Crawdads game & Senior Adult Day on Tuesday, May 19th at 9:45am. The cost will be $3.50 for seniors and $7.00 for non-seniors, non-member. Please sign up and turn your money in by March 31st. You can place your money in an envelope and place it in the Church Ministry Box.

KIDS SWIMMING AT VALDESE RECREATION
The children Kindergarten to 6th Grades will be going swimming at Valdese Recreation Center on Saturday, March 21st. You will be leaving the church at 1:30pm and returning back at 5pm. Please sign up at the Welcome Center. There is be NO charge for this event.

WEDDING
You are invited to the wedding of Danielle Spears & Frankie Cornett on Saturday, March 21st at 2pm at Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church. This is the grand-daughter of Buddy & Brenda Burcham. Reception immediately following the upper fellowship hall.

DEEPER STILL CONFERENCE
For all the ladies attending the Deeper Still conference in July your 2nd payment of $25.00 is due on Sunday, April 19th. You can place your money in an envelope and place it in the Church Ministry Box.

NURSERY WORKERS FOR EASTER DRAMA
We are needing ladies to work in the nursery during the Easter Drama that will be April 3, 4, & 5. If you would interested, please sign up at the Welcome Center.

YOUTH GIRLS 7TH - 12TH GRADES
The Youth Girls 7th - 12th Grades will be going on a “King’s Daughters Spring Retreat on May 1st - 3rd in Gatlinburg, TN. The cost will be $50.00 per person. Also, you can bring a friend! Please sign up at the Welcome Center. Also, you will need to turn in a $20.00 deposit by Sunday, April 5th. You can place your money in an envelope and place it in the Church Ministry Box. We would like to encourage each and every youth girl to attend, so please do not let money be an issue, please contact Deidre.

YOUTH CAROWINDS
The youth will be going to Carowinds on Saturday, April 11th. You will be leaving at 8:30am and returning at 9:00pm. The cost will be $33.00. Please sign up at the welcome center and you can place your money in an envelope and place it in the Church Ministry Box. Church will be providing lunch and supper, but you will need money for snacks and souvenirs.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY
Any lady interested in taking a 7 week Bible study on Monday nights starting April 6th at 6:30pm in the basement of the fellowship hall, please sign up at the Welcome Center. The study will be “Me, Myself & Lies: A Thought Closet Makeover” by Jennifer Rothschild. The cost will be $12.00 for the workbook and we really encourage each lady to attend. Please sign up at the Welcome Center. Please place your money in an envelope and place it in the Church Ministry Box at the Welcome Center. If it helps you can make payments for the workbook If you have any questions about this Bible Study, please see Deidre Lail. Also, if money is an issue, please do NOT let that be the reason you do not participate in this study.

PROM DRESSES NEEDED

Make Prom a dream come true! The Family Guidance Center is sponsoring the “Priceless Princess Project”. They are needing prom dresses donated. The donations guidelines are:
* Formal gowns from 2002 to new in EXCELLENT condition and in ALL sizes and colors; purses, fancy jewelry; and wraps or shawls; shoes.
* Dresses must be dry-cleaned and on hangers.
*Dresses must be formal gowns or fancy party dresses.
*We can not accept unclean garments or wedding dresses.
*Your dress donation/accessory donation is tax-deductible!
Also, financial donations will also be accepted. On Saturday, March 28th , girls in need of a prom dress that attend school in Catawba County (Catawba County, Hickory, or Newton/Conover Schools) will be allowed to select a dress for free at the Purple Ribbon Thrift Store. If you would like to donation a prom dress, please turn it in to Deidre Lail by Sunday, March 22nd.

EASTER DRAMA PRACTICE
Easter Drama practice tonight! Also, below is a schedule time of practice. Starting TONIGHT the choir will begin practicing with the drama: Wednesday, March 18th

Dress Rehearsal will be Monday, March 30th at 6:30pm. Supper will be provided that night and will begin serving at 5:15pm in the upper fellowship hall.
