At Bethlehem we believe that Christianity should be at the basis of all education. We recognize that children have spiritual, emotional and physical needs.

We also know that God creates each of His kids uniquely. This is why we provide opportunities for individual growth in a positive, creative and loving environment.

A Christian home gives children their first Christ-centered instruction and training. We believe our school needs to support parents by sharing in this responsibity.

Bethlehem Lutheran Preschool and Day Care can best accomplish this by providing. . .

Х Opportunities for Christian learning of Jesus as Lord and Savior through formal classes, chapel, and informal living-learning environment.

Х Opportunities and activities to help children have a healthy self-image which includes accepting themselves, their limitations and their talents as God has given them.

Х Experiences and activities which will fulfill the childТs basic individual needs (spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual and social).

Х Guidance as the child becomes less self-centered and starts taking part in small group and large group activities.

Х Experiences and stimulating the natural curiosity of a child to broaden his/her aptitude for future schoolwork.

All teachers meet and/or exceed California State requirements in Early Childhood Education (12 ECE units) and are encouraged to seek professional growth. They also have a licensed background check and are CPR and First-Aid trained and certified. They are mature, dedicated, and loving individuals whose purpose is to provide a loving and nurturing atmosphere for your child.

Our Preschool program is designed to meet the needs of children 2 years through age 6. Preschool hours are 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday. You may choose a 2, 3, or 5 day program.

The curriculum that your child will experience is designed to provide a variety of educational and creative materials to stimulate bothаacademic and social interaction. In the preschool program your child will learn and experience:

Bethlehem Lutheran School provides care for children 2 yearsаto age 6, from the hours of 6:30 AM through 6:30 PM. You may make arrangements for care of your child on a regular basis or you may wish to use it only on occasion. In the daycare program your child will learn and experience:

Bethlehem Lutheran School is a year-round program. We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We are closed on all major holidays.

Enrollment in Bethlehem Lutheran School is open to all children who have turned 2 years old by September 1 of the current school year.аа We can help potty train.

AtаBethlehem Lutheran School you may apply for tuition assistance for your children. The amount of assistance granted is determined on the basis of need and availability of funds. The requests are brought before the Business Administrator and the Director of Family Ministries. If you would like to submit a request to be considered, please return the Tuition Assistance Application along with the information requested to the school office.
