Container to Togo The Kipukes are now in Togo. A shipping container full of supplies will be leaving Trinity On The Hill UMC in mid to late October 2008. Many items have been collected, but listed below Items are still needed for the container.
Summer Mission Trip to Togo We are putting together a team for Africa and would like to invite people from your church who are willing to join us .
Depart June 25 Return July 5
The trip will most likely be in late June thru July 5 2009 at a cost of $2700-2800 per person. Tickets are very high, but this cost covers your trip and all travel in Africa. You would be responsible for your own passport and immunizations.
The 2008 trip was awesome! This is an excellent young adult or teenage experience as well as a great experience for us older adults. On the last trip our youngest missioner was 14 and our oldest was 68. We touched over 3000 people in 4 days of clinic and ministry. Praise God. The Togo Kipuke Ministries presence is growing rapidly and God is working mightily for the people of Togo, but there is so much work to be done. People are learning of Christ . Many of them have never heard of Jesus and the saving grace that he brings.
We now have the responsibility of a group of orphans that need support as well as young adult students learning literacy and trades while being surrounded in a loving atmosphere of Christian Love and Teaching . You have the opportunity to support this effort.
For only a small amount each month you can adopt the financial care of one of these orphans or the cost of educating and giving young women the opportunity to excell in a society where opportunity is stacked against her.
