We reach out to our community and our world through:
C.A.F.E. (Concerned Action for the Elderly): our church is a founding member of the CAFE board and has been instrumental in the building and care of the Northlake Senior Housing facility.
Ecumenical Community Thanksgiving Service: our pastor and our church members have actively supported this service with their presence as well as their support.
Souper Bowl of Caring: this year, our church will participate in this nationwide youth initiative to raise awareness about and funds for local hunger ministries. Our youth join more than 11,000 groups that raised over $4 million for a variety of hunger charities all over the US in 2005.
Scouting: our church is quickly becoming the center of Scouting in the St. Anne area. We are proud to support our youth in this worthwhile way.
Alcoholics Anonymous: our church has opened our facility to this very important support group. AA meets in our building each week.
Habitat for Humanity: members of our church have dedicated themselves to building homes for the working poor in our midst by organizing a chapter in Kankakee County.
Childrens' Coat and Clothes Closet Project: members of our church have dedicated themselves to providing clothing to those who have little in our community.
Food Baskets: members of our church have dedicated themselves to providing food baskets to needy families during the Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter holidays.
