Thank you to all who donated baked goods and crafts for the Country Store.  The youth appreciate all of your support.  This year the youth decided to donate the money to Heifer Interantional. And has asked the Michel Fund to match this donation.  If you are not familiar with Heifer International it is the opportunity to purchase animals to be placed in a poverty stricken village.  This enables a family in the village to provide milk  or eggs to their family, neighbors and left overs are sold to provide income.  Once the animal reproduces the family gives the baby animals to other needy families in the village.  Eventually the entire village will be blessed with an animal reducing starvation and poverty in the village.
