A Spiritual Visionquest for First Christian Church in Weeping Water 2010
We will continue in 2010 as a church of contagious joy creating an atmosphere where joy and miracles happen doing what we can and God calls us to do.
Outreach/inreach continue to happen in our missionary church--visit us in Weeping Water. Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. Help us grow in grace, joy, peace, and love.
As Dr. Jim McReynolds begins his 5th year as pastor, First Christian Church will feature music groups that are contemporary and/or classical as well as the Nebraska popular Southern gospel music.
We are a local, state, world mission-minded church.

Blood Bank, twice each year, for people giving blood for those needing it at hospitals, nursing homes, for life needed situations.
More than 50 various outreach ministries done by members of our First Christian Church in Weeping Water.
Help us create joy during these lean times. Current project is a new roof and fixing wore out wiring in our church.

Dr. McReynolds has been doing spiritual visionquests for joy since 1954. Thousands of visionquests have happened through his 56 years of preaching ministry. He will speak in colleges (a campusquest) or in a church (spiritual visionquest) or a prison (spiritual prisonquest) or business or hospital (healingquest.)
His has been a long time of ministerial journeying. He still has energy, creativity, and insight to deliver excellent books, preaching, teaching, counseling, and other avenues of communication.

Jim is a retired elder in the United Methodist Church. He was originally ordained as a Southern Baptist minister. Dr. Jim is now an ordained minister with standing in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Nebraska. He has served as preacher in 11 denominational local churches. He has spoken in more than 2,600 colleges and universities. He will come to any size church or group for a meeting or seminar or a visionquest designed just for you.
He now serves as pastor of the First Christian Church in Weeping Water, Nebraska and as chaplain/therapist for Valley Hope Association in Omaha and Lincoln. Dr. John Killinger was his major professor at Vanderbilt University Divinity School where he majored in preaching. In the fall of 2007, he completed a Lilly Grant study at Lexington Theological Seminary in Kentucky, forever trying to improve his joyful preaching of God's Word.
