Open Membership and Respect for the Wider Christian Church

Persons from any or no denominational background are invited to become a member by profession of faith in Christ.  We baptize first time converts as new members by immersion as we believe was practiced in the New Testament.

If baptized in any other Christian tradition, we accept that baptism for your membership. We respect other Christian traditions and life-long individual beliefs as we practice the priesthood of every believer, and the autonomy of our local church to receive whom we will as new members of our congregation.  Scholars, even today, still espouse baptism by sprinking, pouring, and as children baptized as babies and confirming their faith as adults.

Your profession of faith in Christ is the most important step in becoming a member of any Christian fellowship.  Baptism is the outward sign of an inward experience.  The joyous experience of being a child of God in Christ is the most important thing.
