Pastor Laren Whaley celebrated 31 years of ministry this past September. After completing the MIP Pilot Program under the direction of Dr. Robert E. Fisher, former State Overseer of the Delmarva-DC area in June of 1976; on September 20, 1976 he received his Exhorter Certificate with the Church of God (Cleveland TN) after passing the written and oral examination. On July 27, 1981 he received his Ordained Minister Certificate and on January 24, 1985 he received his Ordained Bishop Certificate. On July 23, 2007 Pastor & Mrs. Whaley celebrated their 30th Wedding Anniversary. On October 3, 2008, Pastor & Mrs. Laren Whaley will be celebrating 29 years in pastoral ministry at the Harvest of Praise Church of God. |
