dedication of our time, talents and efforts in the service of our Lord.
ALTAR GUILD
The beautiful fresh flowers and white linens which adorn the altar at each worship service are made possible through the efforts of the Altar Guild, a volunteer organization of women from our congregation, serving the parish. Speak with Mildred Darling for more information concerning this group.
ALTAR SERVERS
Altar servers are men and women from the congregation who assist the priest, and other clergy, at the altar during worship services and special liturgy. These individuals are volunteers, and serve on a rotational basis. For more information on serving the parish in this facility, contact Lynette Darling.
CHALICE BEARERS
Chalice Bearers are congregational volunteers who assist in the distribution of Holy Communion at worship services. Contact Shirley Sewell on how to become involved.
Episcopal Church Women (ECW) is a volunteer organization of congregational women empowered to do Christ's work in the world. Each year, ECW members provide leadership for an assortment of projects with the goal of serving the parish directly, as well as the greater community through our parish. FOOD PANTRY
On a continuous basis, St. Michael's solicits food donations for distribution to agencies addressing the dietary shortfalls of residents of our community. To participate in this program, please deposit donations of canned, dry, or other non-perishable food items in collection bins located in the rear of the main sanctuary, or in the coffee room; or contact Marie Grier for more information.
MINISTRY OF THE WORD
To promote inclusion of all parish members during worship celebration, lay readers from our congregation are invited to participate in the proclamation of God's word. These volunteers convey first and second readings, and responsorial psalm at our Sunday liturgy, as well as other services. MUSIC MINISTRY
The St. Michael's Choir is a volunteer organization of parishioners
devoted to assisting congregational worship through music that is both
meaningful and beautiful. All are welcome to join. Speak to any choir member for more information.
