Thank you for visiting the on line home of New Hope Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  We are a new fellowship of believers with a rich heritage of faith, ministry, and hope in Oklahoma City.  Our heritage comes from the fact that New Hope Christian Church is a result of the coming together of two congregations; Good Shepherd Christian Church and Southwest Christian Church.  Both of these churches have been faithful ministers of Christ's love and message for over eighty combined years.  We are new because we became one church family in November, 2005.

New Hope is here to serve God, our community and each other.  Our congregation's members live in Moore, Norman and the greater Oklahoma City metro area.  We invite our neighbors to become part of the excitement at new Hope.  Please, join us Sunday mornings for Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., and worship services at 10:30 a.m.  We offer a variety of activities to  all age groups.

Since our union, many changes and celebrations have occurred.  We have remodeled our nursery and re carpeted our Sunday school areas. We have expanded our youth activities to include include three young people's groups that meet on alternating Sundays each month to enjoy activities in the community and church.

The young adults, 18 to 108, have also joined in on the fun. They have been busy taking field trips to share meals in restaurants and tea rooms across the metro area, attend plays, visit museums, attend sporting events and fellowship with one another.  New Hope Christian Church celebrated our first wedding recently as two members of our congregation exchanged vows. 

We have a new men's groups forming. We enjoy the activities of the two women's groups, one during the daytime each week and the other once a month in the evening.  We sponsor community outreach events that benefit families and individuals in our metropolitan area.

Everyone at New Hope Christian Church is on the go, as we bloom where we are!
