About ForMinistry 

ForMinistry, an Internet ministry of the American Bible Society, equips churches for effective ministry online. ForMinistry—which is completely donor supported—provides powerful, easy-to-use tools for local churches, church-based ministries, denominational bodies, and Christian nonprofit organizations to create websites that change the lives of believers and seekers alike.

Today, more than 25,000 churches and ministries, hungry and excited about the opportunities to reach our changing world, have taken advantage of ForMinistry’s tools, tips, information, and ideas. In addition, more than 150,000 churches are listed in our Church Directory.

At the center of all our work is the belief that God speaks to every generation through the Holy Scriptures, bringing wisdom where there is confusion, faith where there is fear, hope where there is despair, and love where there is hatred. For almost 200 years, the American Bible Society has made the Bible available to every person in a language and format each can understand and afford so all people may experience its life changing message. And it is this same commitment that led the ABS to launch ForMinistry in 1999.
